First steps to become a contributor/vendor
(reading time: max. three minutes)
Three reasons to become a contributor
- Because you like to photograph and/or you own a collection of old images and photographic material
- Because you are convinced that your photos have an artistic or documentary value
- Because you’re willing to trade your photos, allotting time to create a seller account and upload your photos on photomuse.net
If the above reasons have convinced you, we give you seven more additional pieces of information in a nutshell:
- A digital photo (DMP) is offered for buyers on the platform photomuse.net with four types of licenses: EDCULT; CREATIVE; COMMERCIAL; EXTENDED; The seller is the one who decides for each loaded photo the type of license granted (at least one, a maximum of four)
- For any of the four licenses above, the seller can load four different sizes: S; M; L; RAW
- The seller is the one who decides for each loaded photo the size of the offered file (at least one, a maximum of all four)
- The seller is the one who determines for each DMP the price displayed on the site for the EXTENDED license version at RAW size; Depending on this price, the platform automatically calculates the prices of the products offered for sale for all LICENCE/DIMENSION pairs; The seller must evaluate his photo and bear in mind that he must select the maximum price for the EXTENDED license at RAW size, even if this option will not be offered for sale. This is a “standard” price on the basis of which the website calculates prices for the products sold;
- The seller must bear in mind that in order to register on this platform he must provide Photomuse.net with real and accurate information, i.e. a valid bank account and the name of the account holder. In this account Photomuse.net will make payments to the seller for the products sold; Brief information on how to make payments can be found here
- To be published on the website, a DMP must be validated by photomuse.net; as a rule, validation time may take up to 24 hours, a working day; we are doing our best to shorten this period! When you propose a DMP for validation, you have a mandatory field to fill in, in order to ensure that you are the owner of the product and that you have sales rights on it
- A site-validated product (DMP) can be sold to multiple buyers. The seller will charge the agreed price for each transaction. Details on how to make payments can be found here
